Functional Print Cluster and 3NEO Platform

Functional Print Cluster and 3NEO Platform are an innovative and transversal ecosystem, which brings together clusters, companies, technology and knowledge centers, educational centers and universities, involved activities related to the support and development of advanced printing in southern Europe.

Our GENERAL OBJECTIVE is to be a transmission mechanism for new advanced printing technologies, from a perspective of new business opportunities. Bring new applications and new developments that can be carried out using these technologies to the industry.

The manufacture of products endowed with new functionalities and intelligence can be carried out through functional printing and with the use of additive technologies that reach their maximum exponent with their functionalization through the use of advanced materials and inks, on all types of substrates.

The objective is to manufacture products of high innovative value with multiple applications, at low cost, on a massive scale and with less environmental impact.

Those technologies are transformed using advanced inks on all types of substrates, paper, plastic, textile, glass, metal.

Our working areas are focus on the production of new Electronics (Flexible Sensors, Printed antennas, Keyboards, alarms), Biofunctional devices (biosensors, tests, electrochemical sensors) Packaging indicators (RFID labels, electroluminescent), and elements combining additive manufacturing and electronics.

We can produce a really high innovative products with multiple applications, low cost and lower environmental impact.

To summarize, everything can be functionalised using the right technology and knowing the correct challenge and business trend from the market, and in this direction, We have prioritized five strategic lines of work: Mobility, Internet of Things, Health, Packaging and Smart Habitat & Building.
